The first electric chopper Cars

In August, New York, was presented to the first electric chopper with a proud name

Smart Chopper. Creating a motorcycle was a joint project of the German company

Siemens and the famous producers choppers from the U.S. – Orange County Choppers.

A single battery charge Smart Chopper enough to overcome the 60 km with a maximum

speed of 160 km / h. Charging batteries chopper on usual power, but for a full charge

will require 5 hours.

Smart Chopper motorcycle output 27 horsepower and weighing 160 kg has a 300-mm tire on

its rear wheel, three-meter wheelbase and inclined 45 degrees, the front fork.

The first electric chopper made a tour of the U.S. to draw attention to technologies

that do not harm the environment. At the end of the tour in 2010, Smart Chopper will

be sold at auction.
